  • 3-, 4-, or 5-axis milling.

Our milling department is the largest machining section of our company, with a total of nineteen machines. We perform vertical and horizontal milling on 3, 4, or 5 axes. Our equipment and skilled staff can handle a wide variety of jobs, ranging from general milling to super-accurate operations – all the way to 30 millionths (0.00003) of an inch using our Mikron 400U! These tolerances lend themselves specifically to the needs of the medical, scientific, and research industries.

The high spindle speeds permitted by our sophisticated machines and tooling provide incredible surface finishes, too. With finishes in the 6-8 µin (RMS) range, many parts can be completed without the added step of polishing.

Our programmers have dedicated computer workstations for 2D and 3D modeling, and our skilled craftsman can even program directly from the shop floor on their machine. We use the latest version of Mastercam and can read all popular file formats. Send us your drawing or solid model today and we’ll turn it into a part!
